UPL Shipment Protection the easy way to protect your package
UPL Shipment Protection is an easy and convenient way to protect your items before they ship from America that are sent in parcels using the USApostline service. In the absence of protection of the shipment, the loss or damage to the goods is not recognized as a compensatory case. UPL shipment protection is inexpensive, but you can save on it if you compare the offers of intermediaries for the delivery of packages from the United States.
The cost of the UPL protection program is - 2% of the price of the goods, if you additionally select the package protection program before sending in your personal account. The compensation case is considered individually. The terms of consideration depend on the nature of the risk and the availability of supporting documents. As a rule, consideration of a request for payment of compensation lasts from 7 (seven) to 30 (thirty) business days. In the event of a compensatory event, Usapostline returns to the recipient's account an amount equivalent to the value of the goods protected from damage.

Loss of the entire parcel in the process of delivery
Compensation is made according to the value of the goods declared in the declaration. We will also refund international shipping.
Missing individual items from the parcel
Compensation is made according to the value of the goods declared in the declaration. Shipping costs are non-refundable as the shipping service has been rendered.
Damage to the goods in the parcel during the delivery process
The calculation of compensation is made individually, depending on the assessment of the damage caused to the goods. Shipping costs for damaged items are non-refundable.
How it works:
The presence of external signs upon delivery of the parcel
If there is suspicion and there are obvious external signs (adhesive tape is re-glued - signs of opening the parcel, the parcel is deformed and other details), it is required to unpack the parcel in the presence of a courier or an employee of the pick-up point. If there is damage or loss of the goods, jointly draw up an act / protocol of discrepancy. A copy of the act of discrepancy and supporting documents from the store: where you can see the names of the goods, cost, delivery address, parcel tracking number must be sent to us within 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt of the parcel, otherwise such an event is not recognized as a compensatory case.
Filming the unpacking process
After the delivery of the parcel, the process of unpacking the parcel is filmed. The frame must contain the entire box, not part of the package. Video filming should be carried out from the moment the parcel is unpacked and until the last item is removed from the parcel. Upon the occurrence of an insured event, it is necessary to provide supporting documents in electronic form: where you can see the names of the goods, the cost, the delivery address, the tracking number of the parcel and the video recording of the unpacking of the parcel in good quality within 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt of the parcel, otherwise such an event is not considered compensatory.

Electronic equipment and power tools are classified as fragile goods, the UPL protection program applies only to goods that have their original packaging from the manufacturer.
Items from auctions and from individuals must be photographed
The UPL protection program applies only to the appearance of goods, subject to a special request for a photo of the goods in order to fix their condition at the time the goods arrive at the Usapostline warehouse. The UPL protection service does not include the validity or operability of the device.
